To celebrate our 75th Jubilee the Joy spinning wheel – named after Joy Ashford – has been updated with a new flyer

From late 2009 all Joy spinning wheels will have the new sliding hook flyer as standard. With the squeeze-and-slide stainless steel hooks it is easy to fill bobbins evenly and the fibreglass arms make the flyer light and strong.

If you are wanting to spin large amounts of yarn, perhaps for a small cottage industry, or if you have trouble treadling, the electronic is your best choice.

The Traveller with double drive and scotch tension is a great little wheel that suits most spinners. Like the Traditional you can buy "add on" kits that allow you to adapt the wheel to your specific spinning needs.
